Donut Shortening Filters

Belshaw’s SF and EZ Melt shortening filters effectively clean and recycle shortening in any fryer with shortening capacity up to 211 lbs/ 96 kg. These filters reduce labor problems associated with handling hot shortening, extend the useful life of the shortening, and improve donut quality.

• SF models filter shortening, and pump back through a flexible hose held manually.
• EZ Melt models top up and fill the fryer with shortening ready-melted and hot. A hose with fixed connection to your Belshaw fryer is standard. The cube cutter assists in loading shortening blocks up to 50 lbs (23 kg). Saves time and enhances safety.

All filters feature a long-life synthetic filter and heavy-duty foot-switch pump operation.

Note that Belshaw recommends EZMelt melter filters for trans fat free shortenings. Use of the SF18 with trans fat free shortening may lead to blockages if shortening is left in the filter tank. (SF24 and SF34 are no longer available)
